The hotel construction project
Our hotel is located in downtown Tashkent; the architectural style of the building is neoclassical style. The neoclassical style which was initially inspired by the ancient Roman and Greek architecture is known for its symmetry, simple geometry and is characterized by rigor, restraint, but also for its harmonious and spectacular appearance. We chose this style because our existing main building belongs to the Soviet constructivism architectural style, which is known for such features as the functionality of buildings and the simplicity of the frame structure, clear large lines, the simplification of facade. Therefore, the addition of a new neoclassical building to that old one allows making both buildings carefully balanced in terms of decor and decorations, since the minimalism of the one is complemented by a strict, restrained, but spectacular, elegant and respectable appearance of the second building. Together, the buildings now make up a harmoniously beautiful and at the same time functionally convenient complex, combining the building featuring the historical Soviet constructivism with a new neoclassical building.
Along with the desire to create an attractive and harmonious appearance of the buildings, we paid attention to the functionality of the construction, its convenience for people. That is why, when choosing materials and carrying out construction work, we were based on an analysis of their functionality, environmental friendliness and convenience for people.
The hotel building has an attic floor; therefore, first of all, attention was paid to the attic roof material. We took the issue of the roof of attic floor seriously, since it is the roof that affects not only the size of the rooms but also the level of comfort of those living on this floor. Energy efficiency was also under consideration while making decision regarding the roof material. It is known that roofing tile provides the most comfort because it keeps warm inside the rooms in winter, cool in summer and makes no noise when it rains. This is why the roof supporting structure was built with the metal material while roof covering material we used are bitumen shingles premium series, Geneva, Peanut of the Döcke company. The Döcke company’s site says that “SBS-modified bitumen at the base gives the tile a particularly high plasticity. Therefore, it does not crack in the cold and does not warp in hot weather”. Also, the Döcke company has certificates of compliance with sanitary, epidemiological and hygienic requirements, technical regulations of fire safety requirements.
The roof made of Döcke Pie Premium tiles was built by our construction team in accordance with the norms. All the roof components used were also of the Döcke - the crate was laid with a solid base of OSB 3-moisture-resistant slabs, roofing underlayment, valley membrane, vapor barrier, insulation were laid, also aerators necessary for ventilation were put, including the soffits with built in ventilation covering the roof overhang, etc. These components, according to the Döcke company's documents, ensure reliability, safety, durability and aesthetics of the entire roof. As a result, the attic floor’s rooms are warm in winter and cool in summer, as well as the guests enjoy the absence of noise during rain.
